Mission Hill adopted 6 February 1948 on Chart #3805. Name changed 7 January 2022 to Íits’aaw on 103K/1 as recommended by The Council of the Haida Nation and supported by North Coast Regional District and Archipelago Search and Rescue.

The sixty foot high hill in the village of Old Masset. Name applied in 1907 during the survey by the Egeria hydrographers.
