Lepas Bay adopted 4 November 1948 on 103 NE, as identified in the 1930 B.C. Gazetteer. Name changed 7 January 2022 to T’aalan Stl’ang on 103K/3 as recommended by The Council of the Haida Nation and supported by North Coast Regional District, BC Parks, Archipelago Search and Rescue, and Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue.
