"...many features around Waddington were named by the Munday's with [the] idea of royalty in mind..." (January 1967 letter from Dick Culbert, file C.1.64). Actually, Munday referred to the massif that was eventually named Waddington as "the monarch," and named surrounding features for their relative position "at the monarch's feet..." See Don Munday's own description in Canadian Alpine Journal, vol XVI, 1926, p.134.
