Named to remember RCAF Pilot Officer Leslie Image, J87777, enlisted at North Vancouver. P/O Image was serving with 425 Squadron flying operations over Europe when he was killed in action 29 July 1944, age 21. With no known grave, his name is inscribed on the Runnymede Memorial, Surrey, UK, panel 250. Survived by parents Herbert George and Lily Lavinia Image, Vancouver.
