Bridal Falls (Post Office) adopted 2 June 1950 on 92 H/4. Identified as Settlement in 1966 Gazetteer. Form of name changed to Bridal Falls (Locality) 15 April 1982; changed to Bridal Falls (Community) 15 July 1983 on 92H/4.

Bridal Falls Post Office was opened 1 November 1937. The community had originally requested that their post office be named "Bridal Veil Falls" however there was already a Post Office with that name elsewhere in Canada, so the post office was named "Bridal Falls"
