Bridal Falls Post Office was opened 1 November 1937. The community had originally requested that their post office be named "Bridal Veil Falls" however there was already a Post Office with that name elsewhere in Canada, so the post office was named "Bridal Falls" Source: BC place name cards, or correspondence to/from BC's Chief Geographer or BC Geographical Names Office |
