Yohetta Lake adopted 6 May 1924 on Ottawa file OBF 0836, as labelled on BC map 2C, 1923. Name changed to Yuyetah Biny 11 June 2020 on 92O/4 as recommended by the Tŝilhqot'in National Government as this is the Tŝilhqot'in name for this lake and supported by Cariboo Regional District, Rec Sites and Trails BC, and the Cariboo Mountain Bike Consortium.
