Amsbury Post Office opened 1 December 1918; closed 31 December 1920; reopened 15 March 1922; closed 31 October 1923. At the time of final closing in 1923, the post office was situated in Lot L1033. Note that Provincial Archives records suggest that between 1 April 1920 and 1 April 1921 the Post Office name was spelled Amesbury [no explanation for apparent contradiction of dates, or spelling variation].
