Named to remember Canadian Army Private Edwin Levi Emery, K4670, from Blackpool (near Clearwater); serving with Canadian Scottish Regiment, RCIC, in Holland when he was killed in action 21 April 1945, age 22. Pte Emery is buried at Holten Canadian War Cemetery, Netherlands, grave III, G, 5. Survived by parents Ernest and Rosa Emery, Blackpool.
