Origin Notes and History:

Established per Order in Council 829, 24 March 1965, containing 107 acres. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation and boundary redescribed per Bill 17-2000: Protected Areas of British Columbia Act, 12 June 2000; the whole containing 67 hectares (50 hectares upland and 17 hectares foreshore) more or less. Boundary redescribed per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole now containing approximately 81 hectares (55 hectares of upland and 26 hectares of foreshore). Boundary redescribed per Bill 15: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 19 May 2010, the whole now containing approximately 89 hectares.
