Dufferin (District Municipality) confirmed 15 January 1973 on 92I/9. Form of name changed to Dufferin (community) 24 August 1978, centred at 50 40 - 120 22 on 92I/NE. Application altered 13 June 1983 to 50 40 - 120 23 on 92I/9, to conform with street maps issued by City of Kamloops.
