Origin Notes and History:

Triplex Mountain adopted 6 April 1940 on 92NW, applied to the summit in the vicinity of 51° 31' x 126° 04'. Application of name altered (moved about 1 mile northwest) 9 January 1963 on 92M, to agree with the position supplied by mountaineer Don Munday in 1936.
