Osprey Lake flag station was established by CPR (c1912 ?), situated on L4375 at the extreme east end of Osprey Lake. Princeton Crossing Post Office was opened 1 July 1914, situated on L2103; so-named because this was the first crossing of Trout Creek by the old trail from Princeton to Okanagan Lake. Re-named Mazama Post Office 1 February 1917 (still located at L2103). Post office moved to L4171 and re-named Osprey Lake Post Office 3 April 1950; Osprey Lake Station was relocated to L4171 at about the same time.
