"Kyuquot" (Village) adopted 31 March 1924 on 92L/3 as labeled on Reference Map 2C "Vancouver Island, Northerly" (1919). Feature type change 19 January 1956 to Post Office as listed in 1953 Gazetteer. 31 January 1983 on 92L/3 feature type change to Community. May have previously been labeled Kuyuquot, Cayuquet, or Kayuquot (maps/dates not cited).
