Named to remember Canadian Army Trooper Paul Meridith Smee, K 913, from Vancouver; serving with 9th Armoured Rgmt, British Columbia Dragoon, RCAC, when he was killed in action 25 May 1944, age 27. Buried at Cassino War Cemetery, Italy, grave V, J, 5. Survived by parents Harry and Dora Annie Smee, Vancouver.
