Named to remember Canadian Army Rifleman Edward Michael Rogan, K65236, enlisted at Vancouver; serving with Regina Rifle Regiment, RCIC, when he was killed in action 9 July 1944, age 20. Buried at Beny-Sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery, Reviers, France, grave II, E, 15. Survived by parents James B. and Bridget Rogan, Dromara, County Down, Northern Ireland. Before enlisting, Rogan had been an amateur boxing champion, North-West Pacific region.
