Named to remember Canadian Army Private Robert Robinson Swordy, K52969, from Kelowna; serving with Seaforth Highlanders of Canada in the Siciliy campaign when he was killed in action 21 July 1943. Buried at Agira Canadian War Cemetery, Sicily, grave D, G, 487.
