Named to remember Canadian Army Gunner Joseph Pelletier, K76741, enlisted at Vancouver; serving with 8 Field Rgmt, Royal Canadian Artillery when he was killed in action 24 May 1944, age 34. Buried at Cassino War Cemetery, Italy, grave IV, D, 17. Survived by parents Arthur and Marie Pelletier, St. Boniface, Manitoba.
