Clearwater Creek adopted 2 September 1954 on 93O, to conform to local usage, and as labelled on BC map 1E, 1917, not "Eauclaire Creek" as submitted by boundary surveyors. Altered application (headwaters only) 10 February 1994 on 93O/14, after Fisheries Branch advised that Clearwater Lake was not the headwaters of the creek.
