Uchucklesit Inlet adopted 13 August 1945 on C.3609, as labelled on British Admiralty Chart 584, 1861 et seq.

Incorrectly identified in the 1930 BC Gazetteer as "Uchucklesit Harbour" Also commonly called "Kildonan Harbour" by area residents.
