Adopted 27 October 1944 on 94K/2 as appears on Reference Map 1H "B.C., Northern" (1933, 1942). Named in association with Tuchodi River. May have previously appeared as "Mary" and "Josephine" Lakes, as the Henry Expedition (1931) refered to these lakes.
