Valenciennes Mountain adopted 3 February 1920 on Ottawa file OBF 0478, not "Mons Mountain" as submitted in November 1919 by A.O. Wheeler, DLS, nor "Givenchy Mountain" as suggested by a Geographic Board of Canada executive committee member.
