Origin Notes and History:

Trimble Lake adopted 6 March 1928 on 94G in association with Mount Trimble and Trimble Creek, not "Deadman Lake" as labelled on earlier maps. See Trimble, Mount for origin information.

Formerly Deadman or Deadman's Lake: two prospectors had a disagreement and killed each other, c1925. Another local story is that two miners bound for the Klondike c1898, had a dispute and killed each other.
