Adams Mountain incorrectly adopted in Geographic Board of Canada minutes 9 January 1934. Form of name corrected to Mount Adam 11 September 1934 on 92L/1, as labelled on A.J. Campbell's c1932 survey map of the area, and as submitted to Geographic Board of Canada by BC Geographic Division in October 1933; named in association with nearby Adam River.
