Whitetop Mountain identified in the 1930 BC Gazetteer. "Whitetop Mountain, not Mount Whitetop" confirmed 3 March 1947 on 93SW. Application altered 30 June 1982 on 93C/10, from 52° 37' - 124° 35' to 52° 39' - 124° 33'.
