Origin Notes and History:

Annette Creek adopted 14 January 1946, as labelled on British Admiralty Chart A2840, 1861 et seq. Form of name changed to Annette Inlet 7 September 1950 on C.3450, as recommended by Hydrographic Service; "creek" is seldom used anymore to describe this type of feature; "inlet" is more commonly used now.

Named in 1859 by Captain Richards, RN, in association with other Prevost Island features; Annette was one of Captain Prevost's daughters.
