Origin Notes and History:
Sorcerer Creek adopted 12 December 1939 on BC map 5D, Revelstoke-Golden, in association with the glacier & mountain at its head, not North Fork Downie Creek as had been labelled on "Reconnaisance map of the Northern Selkirk Mountains and the Big Bend Area of the Columbia River", by Palmer and Chapman, 1915.
