Origin Notes and History:

Dokdaon Mountains adopted in 1935 on Geological Survey sheet 310A, Stikine River area, in association with adjacent Dokdaon Creek. Form of name changed to Dokdaon Mountain 6 May 1954 on 104G, applied to a single peak, the highest in the group.
