Named after Arthur and Delina Noel, a husband and wife team of old-time prospectors who lived at Bralorne; one-time owners of the Pioneer Mine, Bend'Or stamp mill. Also Noel Creek. (see also extensive biographical information in "Gold Along the Fraser" by Lorraine Harris, Hancock House, 1984.)
