Identified as "to be abandoned 31 May 1960" in CNR Freight timetable 24 April 1960, however, still identified as a 43-car siding in 30 April 1961 timetable. CNR confirmed by letter May 1962 that Bulkley Canyon is still a valid railway point (file H.1.50).
