Origin Notes and History:

Spectrum Mountains adopted 24 July 1945 on 104/SE; not "Rainbow Mountains" as labelled on BC Lands map 5C, Stikine, 1929. Form of name changed to Spectrum Range 6 May 1954 on 104G, in accordance with description and extent in Hugh Bostock's memoir 247.
