According to WR file 0300429 (February 1972) control structures would be installed on North Terrace Creek to create "Terrace Lake" - a reservoir covering Duo Via and Christie Lakes, and diverting water southwest. Terrace Lake adopted 21 January 1976 as instructed by Water Rights Branch, although control structures had not yet been built. In the face of local objections and environmental concerns the project was overturned. Terrace Lake rescinded 9 February 1977 on 82L/4, and the names Duo Via Lake and Christie Lake reinstated at the same time.
