Origin Notes and History:

Established by Order in Council 2966, 4 December 1962. Boundary changed per OIC 3467/1967 and per OIC 187/1989, and redescribed per OIC 1183/1989. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation per Bill 17-2000: Protected Areas of British Columbia Act, 29 June 2000; the whole containing approximately 69.3 hectares (39.3 hectares of upland and 30 hectares of foreshore).
