"This is near Moose Creek which drains into Klinket Lake. Alternate name is Table Mountain Lake [because] Table Mountain is the mountain just south of the east end of the lake. This area is a good hunting area for moose and caribou. The people of Teslin lived around Johnston Town and used to hunt in this area." (Information provided December 2012 by Teslin Tlingit Council, in turn confirmed in summer 1999 by Matt Thom and Rosie Johnson.)
