Origin Notes and History:
Level Mountain adopted 21 December 1944 on 104/NE, as identified in Geological Summary Report 1925A, p 30, 94. Form of name changed to Level Mountain Range 14 August 1952 on 104J, referring to a cluster of bare summits of similar elevation on the Nahlin Plateau.
