"Tanakaxhjach is the Kaska/Athapaskan name. This is a small lake that has a trail around it. Close to Mile 769 on the Alaska Highway. There is a trail from there to Johnston Town which goes by Lower Hazel Creek." (Information provided January 2013 by Teslin Tlingit Council, in turn confirmed in June 1999 by Matt Thom).
