Mr. Carlton P. Fuller, in his article "Fortieth Aniversary Camp" states: '...Eastpost Spire, as its name implies, is the most easterly of the peaks bounding a small cirque aboe and to the north of Boulder camp.' (Canadian Alpine Journal vol XXX, 1947, p.154.)
