Named to remember RCAF First Lieutenant Ronald E. MacFarlane, D.F.M., J16696, from Chilliwack; killed in action 16 December 1943, age 21. He is buried at Lemsterland (Lemmeer)-General Cemetery, Netherlands, grave C.8.230. Survived by parents John and Phoebe MacFarlane of Chilliwack, B.C.
