Originally identified in municipal plan as "Fascieux Slough", flowing northwest into Mission Slough in Lot 135. Configuration changed as a result of Mission Slough channel improvements. "I have been instructed by the Municipal Council of the City of Kelowna to suggest that the name of Fascieux Slough now be changed to Fascieux Creek, as same is a flowing body of water." (11 May 1966 letter to Comptroller of Water Rights from City Clerk, City of Kelowna, file K.1.55) Origin/significance of the name not provided by City of Kelowna.
