Cariboo Mountains adopted 2 April 1918, not "Cariboo Range" as labelled on Bowman's 1887 map of the Cariboo Mining District. Application altered 7 March 1963 on Geological Survey sheet 922A, Landforms of BC, as identified on BC Mines Bulletin #48 (July 1962 letter, file C.2.46).
