Spelled Enchu Lake on BC Lands' map 1A, 1912 - verified as a typographical error and correctly spelled Euchu Lake on BC Lands' map 1G, 1916 and subsequent provincial maps. "Euchu Lake (not Enchu)" identified in the 1930 BC Gazetteer, "tributary to Natalkuz Lake at head of Nechako River." Original footprint of Eucho Lake: 13 miles long x 1-1/2 miles wide, elevation 2648 ft.asl. Flooded behind Kenney Dam beginning in 1952, to elevation 2800 ft. and now one of the reaches of an expanded Natalkuz Lake. See "Nechako Reservoir Spillway" in 1953 Annual Report by Water Rights Branch.
