Canyon Hot Springs adopted 5 October 1978 on 82N, as identified on highways signs (file G.2.32). Rescinded 31 August 2013.

5 October 1999: Department of Highways "Canyon Hot Springs" signs apparently refer to the locality rather than the hotspring(s). To be investigated.
Reviewed and confirmed 31 August 2013: the name "Canyon Hot Springs" refers to the locality - the hotsprings are well-known as Albert Canyon Hot Spring (singular).
