Origin Notes and History:
James Creek adopted in the 18th Report of the Geographic Board of Canada, 31 March 1924, not "Bad River", the long-established local name. Name changed to "Bad River (James Creek)" 21 April 1976 on 93 I/6 to accomodate entrenched local usage.
