Incorporated under the Municipal Act as a Mountain Resort Municipality per Order in Council 760, 19 November 2012, to be known as Jumbo Glacier Mountain Resort Municipality. Gazette Date 6 December 2012, provisions & obligations coming into force 19 February 2013 per Letters Patent. Dissolution of Municipality per OIC 699, 13 December 2021, revoking the letters patent enabled through the Municipalities Enabling and Validating Act; Gazette date 16 December 2021.
