Origin Notes and History:

Camagna Post Office was opened 1 November 1909, E. Camagna postmaster, 1909-19; closed 15 April 1919. Re-opened as Cherryville Post Office 1 October 1919. Camagna (settlement) identified on BC map 1EM, 1915, and in 1930 BC Gazetteer.
