Dixie Cove Park established per Order in Council 589, 30 April 1996, containing 156 ha. Name changed to Dixie Cove Marine Park per Bill 29: Park Amendment Act 1997, 23 July 1997, the whole now containing 164 hectares (113 hectares of upland and 51 hectares of foreshore).
