Origin Notes and History:

Coquihalla Canyon Recreation Area established by Order in Council 986, 15 May 1986. Upgraded to Class A park and name changed to Coquihalla Canyon Park, per Bill 29: Park Amendment Act 1997, 23 July 1997, the whole containing 151.3 ha. Boundary redescribed per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole now containing approximately 159 hectares.
