Origin Notes and History:

Established as a Class C park per Order in Council 2814, 12 December 1958, containing 37 acres more or less; area increased to 101 acres per OIC 767, 13 April 1959. Park cancelled per OIC 707, 3 March 1970, and transferred to local government administration.
