Origin Notes and History:

Redonda Bay (Post Office and Landing) adopted 6 April 1950 on 92/NW. Form of name changed to Redonda Bay (settlement) 4 January 1972. Since abandoned - the former cannery, buildings and government wharf neglected and rotting. Name rescinded 31 July 1981.
