Origin Notes and History:

Fisherman (Station) adopted 6 October 1955 on 82SW, as labelled on BC Lands' map 4A, 1926. Rescinded 11 March 1971.

"Fisherman (not Pennsylvania)" CPR flag station identified in the 1930 BC Gazetteer, ie. on the west side of Granby River. [note that Pennsylvania Stn was on the KVRR, on the east side of Granby River, according to 1912 edition of BC Lands' map #28 (later 4A).]

A flag stop or station on C & W Railway (CPR), located in Lot 1337 between Fisherman and Neff (Deer) Creeks; listed in timetables until September 1968; service cancelled & station building removed late in 1968 according to CPR.
