Boundary Mountains adopted in 1935 on Geological Survey sheet 310A, Stikine River, as labelled on International Boundary sheet 5, 1927. Form of name changed to Boundary Range 6 May 1954 on 104G/4, as recommended by Department of National Defence. Confirmed 26 April 1991 on 104G/4.
